Kim Spencer has spent 46 years solving some of the toughest building control challenges from airports to MoD bunkers, and shaped the careers of countless young engineers along the way.

Based on their in-depth BEMS industry knowledge, as some of the leading names in the sector, the judges announced today are the most qualified to identify the right winners.

Passiv UK won the highly sought after Technical Innovation of the Year – Products award at this year’s Building Controls Industry Association (���ϲ�����) 2025 Awards.

This new category recognises the end client, in-house facility manager or team that has demonstrated a long-term commitment to decarbonising a building or portfolio of buildings through the effective use of Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS).
